In order for you to "publish" your website, you must obtain and hosting service or ISP (internet service provider). Hosting typically costs around $5/month. There are many free hosting services out there, you just have to Google them.

The cost of hosting does not include a domain name...it cost around $10/year for a custom domain name.

You also have to be able to transfer your web files from your computer to the hosting service. FileZilla is free and is one of the best ones out there. You can also use Dreamweaver if you have Adobe CC.

I highly recommend that you upload your webpage files as you complete them to test them on the server. You want to make sure they work on the server!

1. obtain a hosting service (it can be free and purchasing a domain name is optional)
2. after completing Project 5, transfer your files to the hosing server
3. show files to professor or tutor
