How to change your profile description and image in Moodle
Go to PARTICIPANTS
(it is a menu on the left column of you home-page in your class in Moodle)
Click on your Name or Icon among the list
Click on the "Edit profile" option under the Settings menu on your Left
Edit the profile by entering information in the form fields. You need to enter new info in the GENERAL and PICTURE sections
You NEED to use your pipeline account to communicate with your professor.
Please enter the town where you live now, except for International students, that should list the town they are coming from.
Enter a description of yourself. I want to know your technical and academic background, together with your field of interest in the College, and major, if you already have one.
Open the picture section to update your pic/avatar.
Click on the Plus-file sign to locate your image-file in your computer.
The image should be a .JPEG, bot more than 400X400 pixels. I believe the system will square your image if you choose a rectangular image.
We should be able to clearly see your face. Please don't use a group image with other people.
Notice that this Profile will appear in whatever class you take in Moodle. You don' create a different profiles for each class.
Some classes ask you to answer to certain questions as homework for the class. Please find a compromise in this block-content or contact me if you don't know what info to add here.
