Concept: Resize.Up-sampling (making an image bigger than it was: highly discouraged in Multimedia),versus Down-sampling or making an image smaller by throwing away pixels of information.

Do some web research for this week, working on the terms included in the handout.

You might have some expertise in a certain medium (still graphics, digital video, animation, audio...) or you might be new to the whole concept.
Make sure you understand the basic distinctions.
You will have to briefly present some of the results of your research in the next discussion board.
