Project: Logo design and Identtiy Package
Grade: 100 points

Due: Week#, Monday, 9am

As you begin to think about a logo to represent who you are, begin by creating a mind map. This creative technique will help you develop a unique and interesting mark or logotype. Use this technique just as a starting point. You may create a manual mind map or use one of the free online tools such as Mindmeister.com. Your logo may include your name, initials a company name and or a symbol. Keep your logo as a vector image so it can be resized without losing resolution.Think about colors that will represent you and be sure that your design can be viewed as one color.

Be sure that your contact information and other pertinent details are somewhere communicated within your personal identity system.
Consider atting a QR code.

Process:
Create a minimum of 20 thumbnail sketches. These may be done traditionall or using Illustrator.

After critique, begin to refine design.

Develop 3 different sizes of your final design:
business card size, brochure/poster size and largest at approx. 11x17"

Once your logo is designed, create layouts for
1. Business Card,
2. Letterhead
3. one Self Promo Piece

Each of the abouve pieces must have a minimum of 3 thumbnails each plus the finished pieces.

Upload:
Create one PDF with all sketches, thumbnails, roughs and completed designs.
This pdf should be well designed and should contain comments about your progress. This might be a good addition to your portfolio to show how you thnk and work.
