Assignment: Second Life Scavenger Hunt (Repalces Research Paper)

The objectives for this scavenger hunt is exploration and discovery of the creative efforts of Second Life's
residents as well as the group meeting in Second Life (day and time to be announced) to view the photos and discuss your experiences.
The "winners" are those of you who work through the list and find as many of the objects as possible or all of them.
Once you have completed the hunt, be sure to rename each file with your last name_and the object (russotti_weathertv.bmp).
All files should be in one folder labled your last name.
On the MAC you will ARCHIVE the folder (compress the files into one file) by right clicking or control clicking and selecting CREATE ARCHIVE in the drop down menu.

On the PC right click on the folder and a drop down menu should have the WINZIP option and that will create one compressed file.

Attach this file to an email to Sheri Munster (xhorrorbeautyx@mac.com).
Sheri will prepare a "show" of your images on the SBCC island.

1. Log into SL (you will rez up where you last where when you quit SL).
2. Open the Search window (see video tutorial) and type in one of the objects to hunt.
3. Following the steps in the How to take a Snapshot tutorial, zoom in on your object and shoot.
BE SURE THE IMAGE SIZE IS 320x240.

TIP: Use the escape key if you can't see your avatar.
and TP to SGDI/SBCC Island if you get "stuck" some where.

Public HELP Island
Visit Help Island and photograph at least one of the most interesting looking avatars around.
You may want to visit several times and hang around for a while.
You never know what you'll see.
