Assignment: Leonardo Da Vinci Doodle Technique
Grading: 100 points (see below)

Perspective is a key ingredient of creative thought.
Everyone has a different "take" on everything. These differences reflect our backgrounds and experiences, cultures we grew up in and how we view the world.

1. Close your eyes, relax totally, and cover a sheet of paper with random scribbles and lines.
(you may use the pencil tool in Illustrator or Photoshop...but keep those eyes closed:-)
Now open your eyes and look for images and patterns, objects, faces, or events in the scribble.

2. Look at the image as a whole, then look at the separates.

3. Trace those areas (minimum of FIVE) and write the first word that comes to mind for each image or scribble or line or shape.

4. Free-associate from the pattern to an idea for a new product, service, or process?
Include your new idea after your "first word".

When you search your drawings for ideas, you are drawn back into your subconscious, the secret archive which stores every waking moment and has the power to create something never before heard or seen.

5. Scan (or use your digital camera) completed drawings and save as 72 dpi jpgs using a medium range of quality when saving.

6. Upload the file to Moodle using the naming format:
Your name is Jane Smith, your file will be saved as;
smith_doodle.jpg
